Oriental Bar Therapy
ashiatsu
An ancient massage modality where the practitioner uses their feet to apply pressure. Bars that are suspended from the ceiling assist in balancing the massage therapist. Long, compressive deep strokes are applied with the feet to induce deep relaxation as well as release tense muscles.
*ashiatsu is not appropriate for extremely lean, severely overweight or geriatric individuals.
